Have been thinking about websites lately, yesterday managed to make these for my 'future' site using Gimp (Linux)

Simple yet cool to look at : p - very happy with how they turned out, especially compared to what I had done beforehand only using html in dreamweaver.

Back again after so long - saying that, this painting was done a long time ago as well :p
Was asked if I could make a story with some character profiles given to me which I've not gotten around to doing -oops-
The story will be light hearted fantasy, as of yet has no title.
This is one of the creatures - purl purel - currently in its baby form -cute?

Its growth into adulthood is random, but.... you don't want to be around this thing when it does as it normally changes into a tentacle monster with a taste for -you guessed it- youthful girls

The heroine wants one but, needless to say, her campanions don't

Really need to update more

Lighting effects was a stroke of luck from the sunlight shining into the room at the time, makes it look less flat :p

New Project - name: "So Simple"

[Extract from So_Simple_Report I've begun writing:]
"“So Simple” is what the title says, simple lives of simple people displayed in a simple art style which hopefully will become a simple graphic novel project.

There’s no magic or weird creatures appearing, everybody has their own issues and fictional characters are no exception. Great solutions and miracles can occur in one person’s determination in trying to brave the problems of others, however, this takes a toll on that one person... and if they are busy helping others then who, may I ask, is there to help them? Can true success in everybody’s life be determined not by our own strength alone, but with the help of others? This story’s hero lives his life much like this, helping and guiding the people who place their trust in him; his own issues are etched deep in his black box."

The story with a character based on an old drawing from last year that I drew of myself, and now it's older and gender changed to Sam, a guy who works in his friends small store after finishing uni, living his days out dealing with the problems of those who come into the store. He loves his girlfriend very much, and even though there are obstacles they will have to face as the plot thickens he will always fight on with that simple expression on his face.

Most of the graphic novel (?) would be drawn in the style as seen in the image - best way to describe it is a chibi/Bomberman inspired rounded art, with the aim of the art to be cutesy and, well, simple ^-^''' I just hope it'll turn out alright since it will be my first time really needing to draw in this way. Am going to need to work out the plot and the flow of how things go - there are some ideas so far, and it also won't be as difficult as one of my other stories ... If I take it bit by bit then it should be alright...

Why the biting of the leaf? Because he enjoys doing the tiniest things for fun

9 and 7 are two of my favourite numbers (oh god where's the flashing cursor that should tell me where I'm typing?! urk) so using that to create a nice flower that I'll use for my portfolio website when I get around to doing that :3 Yet another thing finished. The original pencil drawing had a third leaf coming down but the more I worked on it digitally the more I realised it wasn't necessary and didn't work well with the overall image, and so, there were two : o
